There are two different methods for whitening non-vital teeth, and each can provide dramatically different results.
The more immediate method consists of using a mix of sodium perborate and hydrogen peroxide. After this process, the whitening results are almost immediately visible. On the other hand, there is also the ambulatory technique. Here, apply a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and sodium perborate to the tooth. Next, we place a temporary filling on the surface of the tooth. Overall, this is a more time-consuming process.
